SpotPal helps record on-site observations, organize candidate premises, estimate business costs and create reports. Please understand its calculations, purchase rules and data storage before use.

1. Purpose and calculations

Counts and estimates depend on your observations, inputs and actual active observation duration. Hourly figures are scaled from the observed period; combined analysis normalizes observations before comparing them. The tool does not guarantee traffic, revenue, profit or a successful location choice and does not replace due diligence. Correct inputs to match conditions, respect the privacy of people photographed and contacts, and ensure you have the right to record and share content.

2. Pro membership and purchases

Lifetime Pro is a one-time non-consumable purchase for the currently released Pro features. Verified purchases can be restored using the same Apple Account. Pro removes usage limits, supports observing up to 4 stores simultaneously and includes optional iCloud sync. The website does not accept payments. Product availability, regional prices, taxes and purchase terms are shown by the App Store.

Apple handles refunds through Report a Problem. Family Sharing and future unimplemented features are not promised.

3. Free allowances and counting uses

Single-store and two-store modes share 5 new observation tasks in total. The free version observes up to 2 stores at once; Pro supports 3–4. Rider, queue, busy, direction and audience features share 3 advanced-observation task authorizations. Single-store and multi-store reports share 3 generations; combined analyses share 3 uses; premises comparisons have 3 uses. You can create 3 location notes in total; deleting one does not restore its allowance. Startup-cost and profit calculations each have 10 successful uses. These allowances accumulate from installation and do not reset periodically. Pro removes these usage limits.

Pausing, resuming and continuing a started task do not create a new task. Repeatedly enabling advanced features in one task does not consume another authorization. Analysis, comparison and report uses are counted after an explicitly requested generation/update succeeds, not when opening a page or selecting tasks. Re-exporting unchanged core report content as an image or PDF, or sharing it again, counts once. Changes to title, appearance or privacy display alone do not create another counted version. Calculations are counted only after valid inputs are successfully submitted. Editing any input in a historical profit record and submitting creates a new record/use; unchanged resubmission or reopening does not. Free allowances are not consumed while Pro is active. Clearing data does not reset previously consumed lifetime allowances.

4. Storage and deletion

Changes in purchase status do not actively delete existing records; started tasks can continue. New tasks and outputs follow verified entitlements. Exported reports may include names, phone numbers, locations or financial information. Manage copies carefully. Read the Privacy Policy for synchronization, media and deletion scope.

Local storage and iCloud sync depend on devices, networks and system conditions; permanent availability and freedom from data loss are not guaranteed. Photos and audio remain local. Export important materials yourself. Recipients or selected services retain copies you choose to share.
